11th ranked Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark won over 9th ranked, top seeded Austrian Samantha Stosur to win the WTA Moscow / Kremlin Cup 2012 in the final that finished just now.
Having won the first set 6-2, she lost the second to Stosur 4-6. But the third set was action packed and full of resilience from Caroline Wozniacki.
In the third set at 3-2 Stosur serving, she gave away her game for naught and lost her edge over Wozniacki, bringing the score 3-3. Wozniacki then won the next game giving only one point to Stosur. Stosur then went on to win her serve from 30-30 to equalize the third set 4-4. But Wozniacki wasn't giving in easily as after two deuces she won back her serve to take the score to 5-4 in her favour, third set. Stosur again won her serve to equalize the third set at 5-5. But Wozniacki was in no mood to give in and won her serve to take the score 6-5 in her favour. But it was the next game that Wozniacki broke through Stosur's serve and won it 7-5 to win the Kremlin Cup 2012.
