The second match on Day-3 of the WTA Istanbul is scheduled between world no. 1 Victoria Azarenka and world no.3 American Serena Williams Thursday afternoon today.

The match is going to be 're-match' of the US Open final when Williams beat Azarenka in the final after losing the second set 6-2, 2-6, 7-5.
Serena has played Azarenka 11 times against Azarenka, winning ten matches and losing only once at Miami 2009. So this makes her a hot favourite to win the match today, unless Azarenka has something up her sleeve to surprise the American today afternoon at Istanbul.
American Serena Williams beat Chinese Na Li 7(7)-6(2), 6-3 on Day-2, while Azarenka beat German Angelique Kerber 6(11) -7(13), 7(7)-6(2), 6-4.
