It may be added that till late last night, there was lot of water still on the field and it had almost been impossible for the rescheduling of the match. But much to the delight of the fans and people of Warsaw that the match finally gets under way. However, it is hard to say how the two teams will 'feel' when playing on a heavily soaked field that may retard their movements.
However, questions are still being asked as to why the retractable roof, for which millions were spent was not operated to save the pitch and the match. However, the Poles have a point that if the roof was closed over a wet pitch, the roof could have collapsed - it is technical.
So we pray that match finally gets underway Wednesday afternoon as rescheduled.
