While world no.2 Novak Djokovic had a bad day on his first day at the Paris Masters when he was ousted by 23rd ranked American Sam Querrey and was knocked out of the tournament, world no.3 Andy Murray had a smooth sailing as he moves to third round to play his match against 69th ranked Polish Jerzy Janowicz Thursday today.

Andy Murray beat French Paul-Henri Mathieu 7-5 6-3 in the second round of Paris Masters Wednesday evening. Although, Murray had not played a competitive match since losing to Novak Djokovic in  Shanghai Masters and seem to have rested well, he looked rusty in his match against Mathieu Wednesday despite  straight-sets success.

Let us see how he fares against Janowicz whom he has played only once at Davis Cup match in 2009 and won 6-3, 6-4, 6-3.

The third round match of Paris Masters is scheduled for Thursday, 1 November 2012 at 13:00 GMT.
