Sunday today is the day of finals. While the men's singles and ladies singles event of the Beijing Open tennis have just finished, another final of ICC T20I between Sri Lanka and West Indies is in progress at the time of writing this post with WI having lost their first wicket for a duck.

Now coming back to Beijing Open 2012 finals. World no.2 Novak Djokovic from Serbia beat French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7(7)-6(4), 6-2. The win today will be very refreshing fro the Serbian, who is starved of any major tournament since his australian Open trophy earlier this year.
As for the ladies singles final, world no.2 Maria Sharapova, who too has been starved of any major trophy since the French Open earlier this year, had a bad luck again in China, as world no.1 Victoria Azarenka from Belarus beat her 6-3, 6-2.
