Alize Cornet recently neat Stosur at Beijing 6-4 4-6 6-3 in the first round. Even Cornet has had a winning edge of 2-1 over Stosur in the last three encounters since US Open in 2007.
Stosur has lost four of her last ten matches - she was lost beaten by Chang at Osaka.
Alize Cornet has had a good stat either as she SIX of her last ten matches, beaten by Azarenka at Beijing and then by Flipkens at Linz.
It is thus hard to predict which of the ladies will beat who, though Stosur by her ranking is a favourite for match Thursday today.
