World no.8 Italian Sara Errani along with 15th ranked Italian Roberta Vinci have been named the Women's Tennis Association's Year-End No.1 doubles team and will be ranked No.1 and No.2 respectively in the individual year-end rankings on November 5.

The trophies were presented to the duo by Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Dubai Duty Free, Salah Tahlak, during an on-court presentation at the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships - Istanbul 2012.
"We congratulate Sara and Roberta for their wonderful year and finishing as the top-ranked WTA doubles team," WTA Chairman & CEO Stacey Allaster said. "The doubles game has never been more exciting, and Sara and Roberta have reached the top through fantastic and memorable play throughout the year."
