One of the important quarterfinals is being played between world no.1 Swiss Roger Federer and 16th ranked Croatian Marin Cilic Friday afternoon.
Federer first met Cilic at ATP Paris in 2008 and has since then met Cilic three times, winning over the Croatian all three times.
Federer has won nine out of ten matches he has recently played. He lost to Berdych in the US Open 7-6(1) 6-4 3-6 6-3. Federer beat fellow countryman Wawrinka 4-6 7-6(4) 6-0 in the third round matches of the Shanghai Rolex Masters to move to the quarters today.
As for Cilic, he has won seven of his last ten matches. He recently lost to M Copi in the Beijing Open 3-6 7-6(0) 6-4.
For today's match Roger Federer is the hot spot.
