Cricket: Pakistan Stars XI down International XI by 6 wickets in second T20



The visiting International World XI faced yet another setback when they were mowed down by Pakistan Stars XI by six wickets in the second T20 at Karachi, Pakistan.


Opener Imran Nazir played brilliant knock of 53, including 4 fours and 5 sixes, as Pakistan Stars XI downed World International XI by 6 wickets in their second exhibition Twenty20 match at National Stadium here on Sunday night. Chasing a modest target of 143, the home side raced home for the loss of 4 wickets in 16.4 overs. Shahzaib Hasan with a fine knock of 39 was the other main contributor for the winners.

Earlier, World International XI made 142 for the loss of 9 wickets, thanks to tail-ender M Hayward’s undefeated innings of 42 and 26 extras. Pakistan Star XI defeated the visitors by 84 runs in the first match played at the same venue on Saturday.
