Aussies, who were the finalists two years ago, have been almost at he bottom of the table position after their 2-1 loss to Pakistan in Dubai just before the T20I got underway. However, their impressive seven wickets win over Ireland in their first match of the T20I championship gives them much confidence to play their second group match against the Windies today afternoon.
West Indies on the other hand are one of the favourites of the championship - something unique for them as it is the first time in a long while that they have been considered such a strong chance. Windies will be looking forward for a victory in their first match of the tournament against Aussies today. They will have to watch for Shane Watson today, however, who took 3 for 26 against their match with Ireland.
