8th ranked German Angelique Kerber plays her third round match against 32nd ranked American Christina McHale friday afternoon at Court No.2.
Kerber has met the american only once at Indian Wells erlier this year, beating her 6-3 3-6 7-6(4) in the fourth round.
Kerber has lost only two of her last ten matches, one on clay (french Open) and other at Grass (WTA Eastbourne). She beat E. Makarova 7-5 6-3 in the second round.
McHale has been rather out of form this year, losing five of ten matches this year, three on clay and two on grass. She beat M. Johansson 7-5 7-5 to reach the third round.
The match is scheduled for Friday, 29 June June 2012 at 13:00 GMT t Court No.2.
