Bertrand in line for shock start



Roberto Di Matteo is considering the gamble amid continued uncertainty over Florent Malouda's fitness, with the Frenchman still suffering from a hamstring strain sustained against Blackburn Rovers last Sunday.
Bertrand, who has never played in the Champions League, was not even in Chelsea's squad for the group stage, and has most commonly been used this season as Ashley Cole's understudy at left-back.
However, the 22-year-old played 47 minutes in midfield against Blackburn, and has been used there in training this week.
He is likely to start if Chelsea's fitness coach Chris Jones deems Malouda unable to play 90 minutes.
